Method: The subjects are 165 women undergoing a normal process during about 36 weeks of pregnancy and who have also a single fetus. A follow-up survey was also conducted on the same subjects one month after delivery.Results: 160 postpartum mothers answered the questionnaire among 165  mothers（96.9% recovery rate）, 145 questionnaires were available for analysis. During both pregnancy and postpartum periods, Self-esteem（RS-E）and Social support（MSPSS）showed higher scores and Stress（PSQ）showed lower scores than a Japanese of the general healthy population. The same subjects were divided into four groups according to the change of scores among two periods:［low to high=group 1］;［High to Low=group 2］;［Low to Low=group 3］; and［High to High=group 4］. The changes of each score in 4 groups was observed between 2 periods（pregnant and postpartum）. 133 people on Self-Esteem and 116 people on Support were keeping high score between pregnant and postpartum（4th group）; 109 on Stress were remaining in low（3rd group）. Those groups were related to their background of “satisfaction of delivery progress”,“ the stability of income”, and“ fi rst childbirth or multipara”.\n　研究目的：母親の心理社会的変化を、「自尊感情（RS-E）」「ソーシャル・サポート（MSPSS）」「ストレス（PSQ）」の尺度を用いて、妊娠中と出産後にわたって縦断的に追跡、比較した。研究方法：妊娠36 週前後の正常な経過をたどっている、単胎児を妊娠している妊婦を調査対象とし、同一対象者に分娩後1ヶ月時点で再度、追跡調査を行った。結果：妊娠期調査で回答した褥婦165 人に再調査し160 人から質問紙を回収（回収率96.9％）した。そのうち、有効回答の得られた145 人のデータについて分析した。自尊感情（RS-E）とソーシャル・サポート（MSPSS）は、妊娠期・産褥期とも日本の一般健常者の平均得点より高い傾向を、ストレスは低い得点を示した。同一人物の妊娠期から産褥期への平均得点の変化のパターンを4 群に分けて検討した。「低い→高い：1 群」「高い→低い：2 群」「低い→低い：3 群」「高い→高い：4 群」の4 群に区分し、その人数分布と、背景要因を探った。自尊感情（RS-E）、ソーシャル・サポート（MSPSS）が高いままの人（自尊感情（RS-E）は133 人、ソーシャル・サポート（MSPSS）は116 人）、ストレス（PSQ）については低いままの人（109
