This study investigated multiple health indicators for healthy individuals as well as the epidemiological characteristics of social capital. The analysis targeted survey results from the year 2017, in which data of 5,658 out of 8,266 residents aged 65 years or older who were not certifi ed to receive long-term care were obtained, and its valid response rate: 68.4%. Results indicated that 42.6% of men and 57.4% of women responded that they had“ decreased functions.” In terms of correlations with structural social capital indicators, volunteer activities exhibited strong positive correlations with“ frailty risks present” and“ fall risks present（”r＝0.899, r＝0.821）.
