本研究の目的は、高校生の男女の足のトラブルと靴の選び方、履き方の実態を明らかにし、高校生にとって有効な健康教育プログラムの示唆を得ることである。A地域の1高校2年生130名に質問紙調査を行い、記述統計を用いて性別による分析を行った。回収数は107名（82.3％）で男子51名（47.7％）、女子56名（52.3％）であった。足のトラブルは男子15名（29.4％）、女子19名（33.9％）に見られた。靴選びの優先項目は、「デザイン・色」は男子20名（39.2％）に対し女子36名（64.3％）と多く、有意差が見られた。靴を買って失敗した経験は、「失敗あり」が男子6名（11.8％）に対し女子21名（37.5％）と多く、有意差が見られた。「自分の足や靴への関心」については「ある、少しある」は女子32名（39.3％）に対し男子11名（23.5％）であった。靴の履き方に関する多くの質問項目において、男子に比べ女子は、靴の適切な履き方を「いつもする、時々する」と回答する割合が少なかった。高校生対象の足の健康教育は、男子は足や靴に関心を持つこと、女子は正しい靴選び・靴の履き方の知識を身に付けることを含んだプログラム構成が有効であると示唆された。
The purpose of this study is to clarify foot troubles of high school students focus on the gender, how they choose and wear their shoes and acquire suggestion for health education programs eff ective for high school students. The authors performed an inventory survey for 130 second graders of a high school in District A and obtained descriptive statistics. The number of collected answers was 107（82.3%）, which consists of 51 from boys（47.7%）and 56 from girls（52.3%）. Foot troubles were seen in 15 boys（29.4%）and 19 girls（33.9%）. The priority for choosing shoes, “Design and color” was 36 girls（64.3%）, compared to 20 boys（39.2%）, which showed a signifi cant diff erence. For failure experience in
buying shoes, only 6 boys（11.8%）answered “Have failure experience” while 21 girls（37.5%）answered so, indicating significant difference between them. For “Interest in own foot and shoes”, 32 girls（39.3%）and 11 boys（23.5%）answered “Have interest a little”. In most questions about how to wear shoes, compared to boys, girls answered that they would always do and sometimes wear shoes properly. The result suggested that it would be eff ective to develop a program that promotes boysʼ interest in foot and shoes and girlsʼ knowledge on correct ways to choose and wear their shoes. |
