日本とエジプト、両国政府は2017年5月、人材育成に関する共同パートナーシップ「エジプト・日本教育パートナーシップ」(EJEP:Egypt-Japan Education Partnership)」に調印した。保健医療分野では1.看護管理・リーダーシップ、2.病院管理、3.救急医療の3種類の研修を2018年から日本で4年間実施する計画である。佐久大学は、1.看護管理・リーダーシップ研修をエジプト高等教育・科学研究省より受託し、現在までに2018年度、2019年度の2回を実施し21名の研修員を受け入れた。その研修目標は、「看護管理者の能力強化を通して、研修参加者の職場の看護管理と看護サービスの質を改善する」ことであり、研修員は6週間の「講義、演習、見学、討議、発表」を通じて、日本とエジプトの看護事情、および看護管理の違いを理解し、所属病院毎に看護部で応用できる活動をアクションプランにまとめた。その中間報告として、エジプトの看護を取り巻く社会状況、および両国の看護の違いを報告する。(著者抄録)
The Japanese and the Egyptian governments signed the EJEP-HRDP:Egypt-Japan Education Partnership-Human Resource Development Project in May 2017. The project planned to implement three Health and Medical programs:1. Nursing Management and Leadership; 2. Hospital Management; and 3. Emergency Pre-hospital Care over four years from 2018 in Japan. Saku University was entrusted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with managing the Nursing Management and Leadership program and implemented programs in 2018 and 2019. In total, 21 Egyptian nursing managers participated. Overall goal was to strengthen participants' managerial capabilities, improve nursing management and clinical services of the hospitals where participants work. Training program lasted six weeks including lectures, classroom practice, observation of institutions, discussion and presentations by participants. Participants understood differences in nursing care and managerial duties of nursing managers between Japan and Egypt, and they were able to create action plans that could be applied to improve nursing care at their workplaces as outcome. This report details nursing care and social conditions in Egypt that we learned through the nursing managerial program. |
