本研究の目的は、看護・福祉系学生の靴と足の認識の実態を明らかにし、足のトラブルと靴の選び方、履き方に関連した要因を検討し、足の健康教育プログラムへの示唆を得ることである。A 大学の学生177 名を対象に自記式質問紙調査を実施し、結果137 名を分析対象とした。足のトラブルがある学生は94 名（68.6％）であった。足のトラブルの有無を従属変数とし、独立変数としては靴の選び方、履き方において足のトラブルに関して有意な関連が見られた項目を強制投入してロジスティック回帰分析を行った。その結果、抽出された項目（オッズ比、95％CI）は、「靴の幅が足の幅に合う靴を選ぶ」4.363（1.527-12.467）、「靴は自分の足に合っている」2.500（1.084-5.766）であった。足のトラブルを予防するため、足長・足囲が合った靴を選ぶことが重要であり、学生が正しい靴の選び方を知り、適切に履けるように足の健康教育の機会を設けていく必要がある。
The purpose of this study is to clarify how nursing and welfare students perceive the relationship between footwear and foot health, to ascertain the relationship between foot problems and wearing/ selecting footwear, and to make recommendations for a program of foot health education. Anonymous self-administered questionnaires were collected from the 177 student of A University and 137 of them were analyzed. Ninety-four students（68.6%）had some type of foot problem. Three items with significant differences regarding foot problem in how to choose footwear and how to wear were independent variables and whether they had foot problem or not was dependent valuable. Logistics regression analysis with forced entry method showed that three factors had signifi cant impacts on foot health and are: the choice of footwear with the correct width that matched the wearer’s foot width（OR=4.363, CI 1.527-12.467）, footwear that fi tted the wearer’s foot length OR=2.500, CI 1.084-5.766）］. In order to prevent foot problems it is important to choose shoes that match the individual’s foot width and length, should be chosen. It is necessary to provide education opportunities for the students so that they can choose the appropriate footwear and wear them properly. |
